Dominos

So this is my style without a sketch. I didn't feel I had enough photos to do my typical two page layout using my go to Sketches for Scrapbooking, so I decided to pile it all onto one page. I think it turned out ok. I'm not in love the with journalling area, I find it looks like I just plunked it there, even after inking the edges, which usually works.  What do you think?

I wanted my letters, which seemed to be a little lost on the dominos background paper, to have more umph so I pulled out my glossy accents and gave each letter coat.  Sorry this picture does show this very well.  Be care when you do this not to put too much on or it might run.  It is always better to go back and do a second coat if you have to.  Trust me I have ruined a couple of awesome layouts by using too much at once!

Supplies: Patterned Paper: Crate Paper -  Restoration Collection and Basic Grey - Marjolaine Collection;  Alphabet Stickers: Basic Grey - Marjolaine Alpha Stickers; Embellishments: Basic Grey - Marjolaine Sticker Elements and Glossy Accents; Inks: Colorbox Chalk Ink.

What neat colours together! I like what you did with your title. I have yet to break out my Glossy Accents - some day!!! lol What about if you add a little embellie to the bottom right-hand side of the journalling block? That might make it look more anchored?

I love this page Jennifer!! And I like adding the glossy glaze over my letters and embellies too. What if you underlined the words on your journaling block? I have done mine like that before and thought it needed something, so I went back and underlined and then I thought it looked fine.
